How to wash your Atlas Steel

Was your last cook on your steel a greasy one? Did you spill some cheese off your pizza or did some jam boil over? If so, the video below is for you!

It’s time to wash your steel. For the most part, I just wipe my steel with a dry cloth between uses, but if it’s overly greasy or sticky, you’ll likely want to wash it. You want to wash your steel in soap and water, just like any other pan.

The most important part of the process is making sure to DRY it thoroughly after, and wipe it with a thin layer of *OIL*. This will seal it and prevent any rusting.
