Smash Burger Recipe

These are a staple in our household for the summer. We hope they can be apart of your family dinners as well!

What you will need:

  • 1 lb ground beef, into 2.5-3 ounce balls
  • 1/2 medium yellow or white onion, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste 
  • Your favourite cheese slices and your other favourite burger toppings ex. pickles, lettuce, bacon, tomato. 
  • And.. an Atlas Steel of course :)


How to:

  • Heat your bbq or flattop to medium high heat. 
  • If using a BBQ get out your Atlas Steel Gridiron and get it hot. 
  • Once everything is hot, place a small amount of your thinly sliced onions onto the grill. Add a ball of your ground beef onto your onions and with your Atlas Burger Stamp smash those burgers down with ease! 
  • Once all your burgers are smashed, season with salt and pepper. 
  • These won’t take long to cook so 2-3 mins per side or until a nice crust has formed. Flip, season again and add your cheese. 
  • Build your masterpiece to your liking and enjoy these all summer long!
