Why perforate a peel?

There are so many benefits to having a perforated pizza peel!

The main purpose of the perforation was to easily remove the excess flour from the pizza dough. With just an easy shake, any extra flour that you may have had transferred over will fall right off.

A perforated pizza peel also allows for improved airflow. The holes allow air to circulate beneath the pizza dough while transferring it to the oven or removing it.

The perforation also helps reduce condensation. Moisture often accumulates between the peel and the dough when it is a solid surface, which can lead to a soggy crust. Our Anodized Aluminum Perforated Peel helps maintain a perfect crisp crust!

Plus, they are lightweight and easy to clean! This peel is a win-win!
